A BRUTE who shook a child so onerous he was left blind and utterly paralysed has been jailed for three years.

The 37-year-old has been jailed for 3 years after being convicted of grievous bodily harm with out intent.
Ipswich Crown Courtroom heard how the boy was a victim of "violent shaking" in June 2018, East Anglian Daily Times stories.
His mum informed the court how he is now blind and paralysed, won't ever walk or speak and requires 24-hour care.
She stated: "His bed room is just not crammed with toys but with feed machines and medical gear.
"He won't ever have the ability to have meals or water and needs to be fed by a button hooked up to his bowel."
The mum additionally revealed her son suffers between 30 and 40 seizures a day because of the assault.
She added: "I've to observe my youngster deteriorate for what this man has finished in a burst of shock of anger. He shouldn't be allowed to walk the streets whereas I look after my baby around the clock.
"I have to simply accept it's very doubtless I'm going to survive my youngster.
"Once I fall asleep each night time my largest worry is [he] won't get up with me."
The courtroom was informed the shaking probably happened over a couple of seconds and was a "spontaneous lack of management".
Andrews has shown "no regret" because the horror, it was stated.
The thug, of Nice Whelnetham, close to Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk was cleared of a more critical charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.
