PRESIDENT Joe Biden has issued a new travel restriction following the emergence of a new coronavirus variant. Beginning on Monday, November 29, 2021, restrictions for eight different countries will go into effect for United States travellers.

The restrictions include the travel of those ...physically present... in the countries during the ...14-day period preceding their entry, or attempted entry into the United States.... Certain people are exempted from the restrictions, such as US citizens, lawful permanent residents and noncitizens who are the spouses of citizens or permanent residents. This travel ban comes following the emergence of a new coronavirus variant, entitled Omicron, which government officials do not yet have much information on. ...We don't know a lot about the variant except that it is a big concern and seems to spread rapidly ... so that was the decision we made,... said Biden. On November 24, 2021, Biden's doctor, Dr. Kevin O'Connor, reported that the President had a single 3-millimeter polyp removed during his colonoscopy. "The security of our customers' shipments is a top priority and we are committed to treating our customers' packages with the utmost care," Memphis, Tennessee-based FedEx said in a statement provided Friday. "We are taking steps to recover and transport the affected packages as quickly as possible," the company said. "In addition to cooperating with law enforcement, we are conducting a review of this situation and will take the appropriate action." The site where the packages were found is about 30 miles north of Birmingham.

The mum said the two teens mentioned how pretty the girl was and how much she resembles another girl they both know. But as they left the restaurant one of the girls in the group confronted them and demanded to know why they were talking about her. Cheryl said: "They tried to explain they weren't talking about them, and had actually been paying them compliments. "In the background the mum of one of the girls, or at least one of the female adults, was shouting 'just hit them, just hit them'." CHAOS It was then that Frankey's friend was attacked by one of the girls in the group. She claims she sprang to her pal's defence, at which point she was repeatedly punched in the face \- resulting in a broken nose. Cheryl said: "It was at this point one of the men pulled Frankey off, held her hands behind her back and yelled 'Come on now's your chance'." "In the meantime, Frankey's friend was being pushed up against the wall by the female adult who was pregnant, and had a pushchair.... She said the initial "scuffle" descended into chaos with nearly all of the adults becoming involved, and even one of the seven-year-old children "kicking and laughing like it was hilarious". Frankey claims two of the three adult men in the group also allegedly branded she and her female pal "tramps". She insists that all members of the violent group became involved \- apart from one older woman who stood at the back screaming that they're just 14-years-old and begging them to stop. Cheryl explained not a single person came forward to help despite the brawl taking place in a built-up area with a bustling pub, cinema and trampoline park. One eyewitness is understood to have since told local news they assumed the three adult males involved in the fight had been security guards separating the four teenagers \- and feel awful that they didn't help. Eventually, a kind couple took the girls to a nearby bowling alley where they got them a drink and phoned the police. Cheryl said she is absolutely horrified by what happened and understands police have CCTV of the incident and are searching for the family of thugs. Norfolk Constabulary has been contacted for comment.

Clearly, and without doubt, that policy needs addressing, not least because it will encourage more women to work at Westminster. But in the meantime, I do not think the answer is for women to bring their babies to work. As an MP, Stella is on a basic annual salary of £81,932 (plus expenses) — a salary that is way higher than that of the average working mum. So good childcare is a very realistic option for her. There is even an on-site nursery at Westminster. I understand that Pip is still breastfeeding and Stella feels he is too young to be left, which is her prerogative. But if she wants to go to work, perhaps she needs to bring a nanny with her to hold the baby while he is not feeding. In many ways I can see why she has decided to bring her son with her. No one is covering her work while her baby is young. And clearly she is committed to representing her constituency of Walthamstow. But while people have spoken out in support of Stella, Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle admitted he had been heavily lobbied by other MPs who are mothers, calling on him to "not give in" by changing the rules. Having a career and family is a choice Unfortunately, as a working mother your lot in life is to juggle — and to suffer from constant guilt — but to get on with it. The solution is to be organised and have very good help, not to take your baby into your work. Apart from anything else, babies need a routine. Most mums know there are sacrifices and compromises to be made when having children.

Ryan Winnard, 21, and his boyfriend Max Green, 18, were surrounded by a group of men in Radcliffe, Gtr Manchester, on Tuesday evening. First the gang shouted homophobic abuse at them. Then, as they tried to walk away, the group attacked them with a hammer. What cowards these people are to hide their faces and overpower two men. Unsurprisingly, and very sadly, Ryan and Max say they have been left scared to hold hands in public again after the terrifying ordeal, which I suppose is partly the aim of attacks like this. What a shocking and awful thing to happen in 2021. Because, to date, just 4.5 per cent of people across low-income countries have received their first Covid jab. These days, it sometimes feels like you are taking your life into your own hands just walking down a London street. The speeding menaces can emerge seemingly from nowhere, on both streets and pavements. For some reason E-scooter riders seem to think that the normal rules do not apply to them, so it is no surprise to hear that injuries caused by them have surged over the past year, according to new government figures. More pedestrians were hurt in crashes with these infernal items in the 12 months leading up to June than during all of 2020, when records began. Unsurprisingly, the figures also revealed that teenagers and older children were the most likely to be hurt riding E-scooters. I did not know this but they are illegal to ride in public areas outside of designated trial sites. People caught riding them on public roads or pavements can face a £300 fine and six points on their driving licence. So, let's start enforcing that, shall we? We pay for your stories!
