<p>Alicia Hannah-Kim opened up about the biting incident between her and her Cobra Kai costar Martin Kove in an Instagram post on Sunday, June 29</p>

<p>In her message, she thanked fans for their support and emphasized the importance of standing up for herself</p>

<p>A week prior, Hannah-Kim filed a police report claiming Kove had bitten and "nearly drew blood" from her arm, which he later apologized for</p>

<p>Exactly one week after the actress, 37, filed a police report alleging Martin Kove bit her while at Summer Con in Washington, she took to her Instagram to speak out. In a video posted on Sunday, June 29, Hannah-Kim acknowledged the support fans have shown her and shared an update on how she has been doing.</p>

<p>"I wanna come on here quickly and say hello and say thank you to everyone that has reached out to me in the past week," she began. "I know that there's a lot going on. I was really enjoying my time at Summer Con. I love meeting you guys in real life. Thank you to Taylor, who was my handler and took care of me all weekend."</p>

<p>"But as you can see, this was a serious incident. No one wants to be attacked at work or anywhere, really. And I don't think anybody would think this is normal or wanted or acceptable, and I just think that when you're confronted with something like this, it's good to stand up for yourself."</p>

<p>"It's an important choice to make," she continued. "I think it's a good choice to make. And I also want to express that this does not represent my experience with the show at large. I think everybody can tell that it's a really good vibe and great cast, and everybody else is delightful. So I don't want this to affect your love for the show. And you know, feel free to love on it as hard as you want."</p>

<p>Hannah-Kim closed out the message by reiterating her gratitude, noting that she wanted to "clear it up and move on."</p>

<p>According to an informational police report previously obtained by PEOPLE, Hannah-Kim was greeting her castmates at the convention's Cobra Kai booth on Sunday, June 22, when Kove, 78, "suddenly grabbed her arm and bit her upper arm so hard it nearly drew blood."</p>

<p>"She yelled out in pain," the documents further stated. "Once Martin Kove finished biting her arm, he grabbed her arm again and began kissing it where he had bit her."</p>

<p>She proceeded to find a law enforcement officer nearby, who informed Kove that "you cannot bite people," body camera footage, also obtained by PEOPLE, revealed.</p>

<p>"I apologize," Kove said in the recording. "I was just playing because we're very playful together, and I bit down too hard."</p>

<p>"No, we do not play like that," Hannah-Kim replied. "I want to be very clear with witnesses. Martin, you think it's funny to play with people. We are colleagues."</p>

<p>The report showed similar sentiments from Kove, who the officer claimed admitted to biting the Australian-native, but "he thought he was being funny, and they play fight all the time on the set of Cobra Kai, and he did not think it was a big deal."</p>

<p>Hannah-Kim declined to press charges but requested an official police report in case she needed it in the future, per documents.</p>

<p>Kove, who was escorted out of the venue following the incident, addressed the matter in a statement shared with TMZ on June 24.</p>

<p>"I deeply regret and apologize for my actions regarding the incident with Alicia, a genuinely kind and wonderful person who didn't deserve to be put in this position," he told the outlet. "I've always respected her and considered her a highly professional and talented co-worker on Cobra Kai. I was being playful in the moment but went too far and there is absolutely no excuse for my behavior."</p>

<p>"I regret my actions for which I take full responsibility for what I did, and again I apologize to her and her husband," he concluded. "I'm committed to learning from this and it will never happen again."</p>

<p>The actress knows fans want a sequel, and she's on board, too — depending</p>

<p>Walter spoke to PEOPLE about the possibility of it recently on a red carpet</p>

<p>Fans of The Parent Trap, listen up! Lisa Ann Walter knows you're hoping for a reboot, and she's into it — with one big caveat.</p>

<p>"One-hundred percent if Nancy Meyers wrote it," Walter recently told PEOPLE at an Abbott Elementary event in L.A., referring to the filmmaker behind the iconic 1998 remake. She'd also want to make sure Lindsay Lohan, who played the twins separated at birth, is involved — and of course, Dennis Quaid too.</p>

<p>Walter, 61, said any reboot would also need to thoughtfully acknowledge the loss of Natasha Richardson, who played the twins' mother, Elizabeth James.</p>

<p>"Dennis [Quaid] has said that he doesn't think it's doable without Natasha, and I understand that," Walter explained. "The movie — it's a kids' story, but it's a love story. So to have a love story that involves that grief, that sadness — if it was written beautifully, maybe it's doable."</p>

<p>Walter, who is real-life BFFs with Elaine Hendrix — who played the villainous fiancée Meredith Blake — revealed the duo "talk literally every day." And while there isn't a juicy cast text thread, the stars of the film do find ways to keep in touch.</p>

<p>"Lindsay will DM me on Instagram," Walter shared. "I text her father here and there — like, 'Lindsay wanted me to tell you so and so.' " She also keeps up with Quaid and his wife, noting that during the pandemic, she even delivered homemade meals to his house. "I was cooking for everybody I knew. I made big pans of food and had them delivered to his house because he had his kids over there."</p>

<p>While The Parent Trap became a nostalgic favorite for many, Walter says her own kids didn't obsess over it. "They had their own go-to movies," she said, naming Grease and Jerry Maguire as family favorites. "Not my movie. I don't know why. Other people do."</p>

<p>Still, her kids do share a connection to the film: "I have four kids, including identical twins born on the twins' birthday from The Parent Trap. They're October 11," she said. She added that her twins, Spencer and Simon (born on Oct. 11, 2000), have experienced some unintended perks of their mom being in the film. "All of my boys have said that girls have dated them specifically because Chessy is their mom," she added with a laugh.</p>

<p>Walter loves any chance to share The Parent Trap love, which is what inspired the 22nd-anniversary social media screening she and Hendrix threw in July 2020. "We hosted our own viewing party on all the different social media channels. She was in New York, I was in L.A. We did it with people joining in, and it was a blast. We are blessed with some of the most dedicated fans of any movie ever — people still dress up as the characters to this day," she shared.</p>

<p>As for a reboot, Walter genuinely hopes it happens — and feels it would mean a lot to the fans.</p>

<p>She recently spoke to a journalist getting married who was throwing a Nancy Meyers-themed bridal shower.</p>

<p>"She wants people to dress up like characters from The Parent Trap," Walter said. "So I'm like, people love it. How are you going to not honor them?"</p>

<p>Olivia Munn detailed her struggles with the mental health disorder trichotillomania during the most recent episode of the Armchair Expert podcast, which landed on Monday, June 30</p>

<p>Sharing that she pulls out her eyelashes, Munn said the condition began when she was triggered by comments on a paparazzi photograph of her during her 2009 relationship with Chris Pine</p>

<p>Per the Mayo Clinic, Trichotillomania "involves frequent, repeated and irresistible urges to pull out hair from your scalp, eyebrows or other areas of your body."</p>

<p>Olivia Munn is opening up about her experience with trichotillomania.</p>

<p>The 44-year-old Newsroom star has been open in the past about struggling with the hair-pulling disorder, trichotillomania. According to the Mayo Clinic, the mental health condition "involves frequent, repeated and irresistible urges to pull out hair from your scalp, eyebrows or other areas of your body."</p>

<p>In Munn, her trichotillomania presents itself as the pulling of her own eyelashes.</p>

<p>"There's a sensation. It's probably not even real, but I'll feel like, 'Oh, this eyelash feels like it's gonna come out,' even though it's not," Munn explained on the Monday, June 30 episode of the Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard podcast. "And then when you pull it, there was a quick second of pain. And then there's a satisfaction and then immediate regret."</p>

<p>Munn shared that the condition first presented itself when she was dating actor Chris Pine. The exes reportedly dated for several months in late 2009 into early 2010.</p>

<p>"So there was a paparazzi shot of he and I, and it was the first time I was in the tabloids," Munn recalled.</p>

<p>Munn said she was attending a small event and had asked the costume team on The Daily Show for "the ugliest dress" they had.</p>

<p>"They found this blue old prom dress with big pom poms on the side. And I was like, 'Oh, wonder if I can make it into the worst best dressed list?' " Munn said, laughing. "And then I did! I couldn't believe it worked. The fact that I was like, they know who I am to even put me on this list. It was very exciting."</p>

<p>At the time, Munn said she left Pine's apartment, noting, "There were paparazzi outside his house because he had been in Star Trek and all this. And they caught photos of me. I was like, 'Oh my god.' And when it got out, one of my friends was like, 'Hey, you're dating Chris Pine.' "</p>

<p>Munn said she then did the "horrible thing" of reading the comments on the images.</p>

<p>"And they were like, 'I think she set this up. Who's carrying a clutch during the day?' " Munn shared, noting, "That began my trichotillomania."</p>

<p>"He is amazing," she said of the Wonder Woman actor. "We were recently at the SNL 50, and we're in the airport lounge together, and it was so great to catch up. He's just the best."</p>

<p>Munn has since married John Mulaney and the two share son Malcolm, 3, and daughter Méi, 9 months.</p>

<p>Ryan Gosling is heading to space in the first trailer for "Project Hail Mary."</p>

<p>The comedic sci-fi film from Amazon MGM Studios follows Gosling, whose character makes a leap from unassuming teacher to an astronaut assigned to a risky space mission. The "Barbie" star appears opposite Sandra Hüller ("Anatomy of a Fall"), who convinces Gosling's character to launch himself into space to save humanity.</p>

<p>"It's an insanely ambitious story that's massive in scope, and it seemed really hard to make, and that's kind of our bag," Gosling said about the film at CinemaCon. "This is why we go to the movies. And I'm not just saying it because I'm in it. I'm also saying it because I'm a producer on the film."</p>

<p>Based on the Andy Weir novel of the same name, the film was directed by "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" filmmakers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. Drew Goddard, who penned the film adaption of Weir's "The Martian," wrote the script. "The Martian," which was directed by Ridley Scott and starred Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain, went on to garner seven Oscar nominations and was a box office smash.</p>

<p>Besides "Barbie," Gosling recently appeared in "The Fall Guy." He also played astronaut Neil Armstrong in "First Man," which saw him reunite with "La La Land" filmmaker Damien Chazelle. Hüller earned an Oscar nomination for "Anatomy of a Fall" and also appeared in "The Zone of Interest."</p>

<p>Lord and Miller won an Oscar for "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" and previously helmed "21 Jump Street" and "The Lego Movie."</p>

<p>WASHINGTON – A White Texan says he was targeted by classmates and teachers at his predominantly Hispanic school district because of his race, including being called "Whitey" by a math aide and being asked by a principal if he was listening to Dixie music.</p>

<p>In middle school band class in 2018, two students brought up "the evils of the white race in American history," Brooks Warden said in his years-long lawsuit.</p>

<p>The Supreme Court on June 30 declined to decide if Warden can sue for racial harassment under the Civil Rights Act.</p>

<p>The Austin Independent School District said Warden failed to show the alleged hostility was based on race, rather than his political views.</p>

<p>"This case has devolved into a publicity stunt fueled by partisan rhetoric and political opportunism," lawyers for the school district told the Supreme Court. "Austin ISD does not condone harassment or bullying of any kind, and it regrets that Brooks had negative experiences with its students and staff members, but this is not a Title VI case."</p>

<p>A federal judge dismissed the complaint. But the Louisiana-based 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals evenly divided over the issue.</p>

<p>One of the appeals judges who sided with Warden said the culture increasingly accepts – it not celebrates – racism against White people.</p>

<p>"Racism is now edgy and exciting—so long as it's against whites," Circuit Judge James Ho wrote.</p>

<p>The U.S. Supreme Court on April 25, 2024.</p>

<p>Warden said the bullying began after he wore a MAGA hat on a middle school field trip in 2017. His lawyers said he should not have to prove that race was the main reason he was targeted instead of just one of the reasons.</p>

<p>The school district said Warden never complained that he was mistreated because of his race while he was a student there. That allegation came nearly a year after he sued and after a local judge had dismissed his multiple amended complaints against the school, lawyers for the district said.</p>

<p>The court, the lawyers said, should not "open the proverbial floodgates to civil liability by allowing students to sue their schools for race-based harassment every time they hear a political viewpoint about race that they do not share."</p>
