Jalen Hurts' parents, Averion and Pamela Hurts, have been with him every step of the way throughout his football career. The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback grew up near Houston, Texas, in the small town of Channelview. Jalen was brought up alongside his brother Averion Jr. and sister Kynnedy, all of whom had a love of sports fostered by their parents. While Averion coached Jalen and Averion Jr. in football at Channelview High School, Kynnedy played on the girls' volleyball team.
